I was on my way to a Dhaba (Wayside Eatery ) with a few of my friends and family to celebrate a friends birthday. I got a call on my cell. The number blinking on my cell was an international number. The call was from outside India. My immediate thought was that the person calling must be needing blood for a near and dear one in india. I usually get calls from sons and daughters who need blood for their parents in India. I took the Call.

The person on the other end identified himself as Dinesh Jain , he said that he read about Indianblooddonors.com and was very happy to note the work being done by us. He was from Nagpur and was settled in the US. He is the founder of Aagami, Inc . He is also the Founder of an organisation Nagpur First which wants to see Nagpur on the Global Map.

Accord Advertising gives us space

Mr Anil Kanimbille CEO of Accord Advertising sent us a mail that he would give us space on their hoardings. We request advertising companies to give us space on their hoardings when no advertisement is featured. A line was painted down below on their hoarding "Be a Blood Donor at http://www.indianblooddonors.com/ .

Tulip Group helps create an awareness

Tulip Group of Companies who are manufacturing Engineering Reagents for safe tranfusion helped create an awareness about IBD by printing 75,000 pamphlets and distributed them to all Blood Banks in the country.

Mrs Sweety Batra

Mrs Sweety Batra needed 2 units of a Negative Blood Group for her sons Heart Surgery in New Delhi . She contacted 2 donors from our site who readily donated blood for her son. Mrs Batra sends a donation every year to IBD on her sons birthday .

We got many mails after the write up in Outlook. One of them was from Ekjut - San Jose California. Ekjut were a group of Indians who contributed to different causes in India. They asked me what our requirement was. We told them that we need help for our Telephone Bills/Hosting Charges / Internet Charges and also for printing Stickers.
The sponsored our Telephone Bills for . They send us a Donation to pay our telephone bills for 3 cycles. We used the Balance amount to print Stickers.
